Does RecLet produce retail-ready audiobook files?
RecLet exports a chaptered M4B mastered to audiobook loudness (-19 LUFS) on an ITU-R BS.1770-4 calibrated meter. Check your distributor's current submission specs against the produced file.


Can I import my manuscript?
Yes: .odt, .txt, and .md; import with a trust report, or write it in Letters and narrate from the same app.


Where does my unreleased audiobook live?
On your device. A backup is just a file written into a folder you control (Files app, iCloud, Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive). RecLet never sees it, and there is no RecLet server.


Is my narration used to train AI?
No. The mic runs only while you record; nothing is analyzed, and no audio leaves your device unless you export it.


How consistent is the loudness across chapters?
Every chapter masters to the same -19 LUFS target, measured on an ITU-R BS.1770-4 meter (K-weighting, -70 LKFS absolute gate, 4× oversampled true peak), so the book holds one level start to finish.
